Terms of Use
Last updated: May 29, 2026
1. What Clearout Chicago is
Clearout Chicago is a referral and matching website that helps users submit junk removal, furniture removal, mattress pickup, appliance removal, cleanout, and related pickup requests. Clearout Chicago is not a junk removal company, hauling company, contractor, waste disposal company, mover, or service provider.
2. Independent providers
Any provider that contacts you or performs work is an independent third party. Providers are solely responsible for their own pricing, quotes, scheduling, availability, licensing, insurance, disposal practices, customer service, representations, and work performed.
Compensation disclosure
Clearout Chicago may receive compensation from independent providers for referrals, introductions, leads, booked jobs, advertising, sponsorships, or other business arrangements. This compensation does not make Clearout Chicago the provider of any pickup, junk removal, cleanout, or related service. Independent providers remain solely responsible for their own pricing, scheduling, availability, insurance, supplies, tools, licensing where applicable, customer service, service quality, and work performed.
3. No guarantee of service
Submitting a request does not guarantee that a provider will contact you, accept the job, provide a quote, arrive at a specific time, or perform the requested service. Provider availability may vary by location, timing, job type, access, and other details.
4. User responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate request details, including item descriptions, pickup location, building access, timing, and any unusual conditions. You agree not to submit hazardous materials, illegal items, medical waste, unsafe requests, false information, or requests involving disputes where service should not proceed.
5. Quotes, payments, and work performed
Clearout Chicago does not set final prices, collect service payment, manage scheduling, supervise providers, or guarantee provider work. Any quote, payment, contract, service agreement, or dispute is between you and the independent provider.
6. Photos and uploaded content
If you upload a photo, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not include sensitive, unlawful, or unnecessary personal information. Photos are intended only to help a provider understand the pickup request.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clearout Chicago is not responsible for damages, losses, injuries, property damage, missed appointments, pricing disputes, disposal issues, or other claims arising from services performed or not performed by independent providers.
8. No emergency services
Clearout Chicago is not an emergency service. Do not use this website for urgent hazards, dangerous materials, blocked exits, unsafe structures, or situations requiring police, fire, medical, city, or emergency response.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after updates means you accept the revised terms.
Provider contact and lead-use rules
Clearout Chicago uses an exclusive one-provider referral model. If you submit a request, your request and contact information may be shared with one local service provider for the pickup, junk removal, cleanout, furniture removal, mattress removal, appliance removal, or related service you requested. That provider may contact you about your specific request. Providers are not permitted by Clearout Chicago to resell, share, or use your information for unrelated marketing.
Clearout Chicago may receive compensation from the provider for referrals, introductions, leads, booked jobs, advertising, sponsorships, or similar business arrangements. This compensation does not make Clearout Chicago the provider of any pickup, junk removal, cleanout, furniture removal, mattress removal, appliance removal, or related service.
Privacy Policy
1. Information we collect
When you submit a request, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code or neighborhood, building type, pickup access/location, timing preference, item description, optional photo upload, and any other details you choose to provide.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to process your request, route it to one local provider who may be able to help, communicate with you if needed, prevent spam or abuse, improve the website, and maintain reasonable business records.
3. How we share your information
We may share your request details and contact information with one local provider so they can contact you about pricing and availability. We also use third-party service providers to help operate the website, including form processing, file upload handling, email delivery, hosting, analytics, security, and storage tools.
For example, Clearout Chicago may use Formspree or a similar form-processing provider to receive, store, process, and forward form submissions, including your name, phone number, email address, ZIP/neighborhood, pickup details, timing preferences, and any optional photo you upload. These providers process information on our behalf so the website form can work. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security.
4. What we do not do
We do not intentionally sell your request as a lead blast, publish your personal information, or send your request to a pile of random companies. The goal is one request, one local provider.
5. Data retention
We keep request information only as long as reasonably needed to process requests, manage provider relationships, prevent abuse, maintain business records, or comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion by contacting us, subject to any business, legal, or security obligations.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No website or online transmission is completely secure, so please do not submit sensitive information that is not needed for a pickup request.
7. Photos
Uploaded photos should only show the items or pickup area needed to estimate the request. Do not upload photos containing IDs, financial documents, children, medical information, or anything else sensitive. Optional photos may be processed and stored by our form-processing provider, such as Formspree, and may be shared with one local provider only for the purpose of understanding and responding to your pickup request.
8. Third-party tools, cookies, and analytics
We may use third-party tools such as Formspree, hosting providers, email tools, analytics tools, and security tools to operate the website, receive submissions, prevent abuse, and improve the service. These providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser information, device information, timestamps, and pages visited. If additional analytics or advertising tools are added, this policy should be updated to identify them more specifically.
9. Children
This website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
